How to export your Freetrade trades

Freetrade has no way to link outside apps, but it lets you download your activity and you can screenshot your holdings. Then See Your Trade shows which holdings went up or down, and by how much, since you bought — free, with nothing to install.

Option 1: download your activity CSV

  1. Open the Freetrade app and tap your profile or Account.
  2. Find Activity (or Statements and documents) and choose to export your activity as a CSV.
  3. Pick the account (ISA, SIPP or General) and the date range — choose the full history.
  4. Save the file, then upload it on See Your Trade under Activity CSV.

Menu names change from time to time — if a step looks different, look for "export", "history" or "statements".

Option 2: upload screenshots

Open each account's holdings list and screenshot every screen of it, including the value and return columns. Upload all the screenshots in one go.

Screenshots give your exact current holdings. Buy dates are estimated from your return.
