How to export your Interactive Brokers trades

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) lets you build a trade report from the Client Portal. Then See Your Trade shows which holdings went up or down, and by how much, since you bought — free, with nothing to install.

Option 1: download your activity CSV

  1. Sign in to the IBKR Client Portal on the web.
  2. Go to Performance & Reports → Flex Queries (or Statements → Activity).
  3. Create or run a report of Trades, choose CSV and the full date range.
  4. Download the file and upload it on See Your Trade under Activity CSV.

Menu names change from time to time — if a step looks different, look for "export", "history" or "statements".

Option 2: upload screenshots

Screenshot the Portfolio view in the IBKR app or Client Portal showing each position's market value and unrealised P&L.

Screenshots give your exact current holdings. Buy dates are estimated from your return.
